Daniel Falatko is originally from Pennsylvania. He received his undergraduate degree from Kutztown University and went on to receive an MFA in Creative Writing from Vermont College. His critically acclaimed first novel, Condominium, was published in 2015. He lives and works in ny City. The publication of Travels and Travails Of Small Minds marks the completion of a daydream sparked in 2007 involving ny City land scams, age-challenged literature professors, dead beatniks, fictitious English villages named after wolves, and post-apocalyptic Moscow slums. Daniel Falatko has been crafting novels since the age of 17. he's a graduate of the MFA in Creative Writing program at Vermont College. He lives and works in NYC. Travels and Travails of Small Minds follows the sideways trajectory of an unambitious career temp worker occupying the foremost nowhere of nowhere jobs. Nathan spends many an hungover morning and afternoon fetching coffee for his senile slumlord boss during a dust-choked office on the Lower side of Manhattan. Between gossiping together with his lone co-worker in their dangerously untidy office, hanging with a drug-addled neighbor, and handling a jealousy-ridden girlfriend, Nathan stumbles headfirst into a careless property scam which finds him unknowingly at the middle .

With a cast of characters including a dead beatnik legend, an eccentric and pompous collector of the beatnik’s works, a replacement love interest within the sort of a tenant with unclear intentions, and a network of sociopathic former literature professors, a saga unfolds over eight days in August which sends Nathan careening through lower Manhattan, Brooklyn, the suburbs of England, and Beyond during a swirl of comedic intrigue.
